Memdeklaro: Self-declared identity, without third parties

Memdeklaro (Incanova) is built around one simple idea: your identity belongs to you. The current system often relies on state-issued documents, and many people are denied access because of circumstances at birth, not because of who they are or what they do as adults. That monopoly can create a vicious circle—being unable to obtain official ID means being blocked from everyday life, from employment and housing to healthcare, education, banking, travel, and even contracts and communications.

Memdeklaro offers a practical alternative. It is a self-declaration of identity that does not require permission from third parties such as birth countries, birth cultures, or birth parents. It is free, open source, and designed to help people maintain control over their own story.

What Memdeklaro provides

Memdeklaro helps you create an identity record with self-chosen details (such as name, birth date, photo, signature, and an ID number) in a format you can print or use digitally.

What Memdeklaro avoids

It does not contain place of birth, citizenship or stateless status, or parents’ names—helping you step away from harmful surveillance and coercion.
