Dive 22: Healing Through Freefall for Veterans

Incanova presents a one-page summary of Dive 22, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to free skydiving for U.S. military veterans. Dive 22, run by volunteers and funded by donations, answers to one number: 22—how many veterans die by suicide every day in America.

Every event is completely free for eligible veterans, covering the jump, gear, training, and the full experience. Veterans apply through the Dive 22 website, get confirmed for an upcoming event, and then show up—Dive 22 handles the rest.

Why Dive 22 Exists

“Healing Through Freefall” reflects what many describe after a skydive: the noise stops, the weight lifts, and isolation, PTSD, and survivor’s guilt meet a moment of presence that opens the door to healing.

What Veterans Can Expect

Dive 22 partners with drop zones across Georgia and the Southeast, welcoming service members and veterans from all branches. Participants start with guided tandem skydiving, and for those ready to go further, Dive 22 funds full A-license certification at zero cost.
